Why Germantown Homeowners Call Team Austin for Well Service

When you’re on a well, water problems aren’t something you can wait on.

And in Germantown, homeowners know who to call.

They call Team Austin.

We’ve been working in homes across this area for over 85 years — and that includes well systems, pumps, and pressure issues.

Our trucks are on the road here every day — helping homeowners get their water systems back up and running.

Well systems aren’t always simple.

Sometimes it’s the pump.
Sometimes it’s the pressure tank.
Sometimes it’s something else in the system.

We don’t guess.

We figure out what’s actually going on and walk you through it clearly.

Because we don’t use salespeople, you’re not getting pushed into replacing equipment you don’t need — just real answers and solid work.

Real Well & Pump Work in Germantown Homes

Tom D. called after noticing low water pressure throughout his home. During a well tune-up we found the pressure tank was failing and the well pump was drawing too many amps, meaning it was working harder than it should. We pulled the existing pump, installed a new Grundfos constant pressure pump with 80 feet of new drop piping and wiring, replaced the pressure tank with a new constant pressure system and manifold, and restored water to the home after flushing the system. A water sample was taken and sent to the lab before we left.
Mayxee V. needed her well pump and pressure tank replaced. The well casing was located in the basement, which required us to hand pull approximately 80 feet of old galvanized pipe section by section before setting a new pump on poly pipe for easier future service. We also installed a new pressure tank with switch and gauge, and performed the required DNR water test upon completion.
Kyle S. needed his well pump and tank replaced. We pulled the existing pump from 207 feet down and installed a new 3/4 HP constant pressure system with a new threaded lateral, setting the pump on 100 feet of 1-inch PVC pipe. Everything was tested and confirmed working properly before we left.

Excellent Plumbing, Heating & Cooling company on every level-we had no water suddenly one morning. We were scheduled for Dino to come & diagnose our problem asap- he was extremely professional & knowledgeable. The next morning we had a team of guys, Garrett & Carson change our well pump & pressure tank. We had water in 36 hours! Very happy from the first contact in the office & the last contact when the trucks rolled away.

Common Questions Germantown Homeowners Have About Well & Pump

Who’s a reputable well and pump company near Germantown?
A lot of Germantown and Washington County runs on private wells, and that’s specialized work Austin’s done since 1939 — with the shop right here on Appleton Avenue and trucks in town daily. You get a tradesperson who genuinely knows well systems — pumps, pressure tanks, controls — not a generalist. Pricing first, no commission steering the call, work backed in writing.
How do I know if my well pump is failing?
Pressure that drops or surges, faucets spitting air, sandy or cloudy water, no water at all, or a pump that runs nonstop and never shuts off (which can burn it out). The cause might be the pump, the pressure tank, or the switch — Austin pins down which instead of replacing the whole system on a guess.
What’s involved in well or pump service?
Austin looks at the whole system — pump, pressure tank, pressure switch, wiring — because a “bad pump” is sometimes really a waterlogged tank or a failing switch. They diagnose it, price the repair or replacement, and treat a no-water call as the priority it is. The aim is to fix it once and right.
What does well or pump repair cost in Germantown?
You get an upfront price and sign off before work — important on a job that can run from a quick switch to pulling the pump. Non-commissioned techs mean the recommendation matches your system, not a sales target.
Are wells common around Germantown — and what about the water quality?
Very common across Germantown and Washington County — and the water is famously hard and high in iron. That means well work and water treatment often go hand in hand, and Austin handles both under one roof. So while they’re servicing your pump, they can tell you honestly whether that orange staining and buildup means you’d benefit from an iron filter or softener too.
