Avoid HVAC contractors that offer good-better-best furnace-tune ups. We don’t cut corners. We were taught, “Be the job big or small, do it right or not at all.” Cutting corners will only cost you more at the end. We only do it one way, and that’s the right way. learn more about our core values.

Why Furnaces Require Annual Maintenance
A heating system is a symphony of airflow, electronics, and science. When in tune, that symphony efficiently delivers safe, hot and fresh air to your home! The challenge with this orchestra of heating is the longer it plays, the more it gets out of tune in the following ways.
A furnace combines natural gas, fire, electricity, water and exhaust in a 24” x 48” thin metal box. What could possibly go wrong, right? Unfortunately, if a furnace is neglected a lot can go wrong. Insuring your furnace is operating safely is a priority during an Austin Plumbing, Heating & Air furnace tune-up.
Plugged Furnace Drains = Problems
While your furnace is running and heating your home, it is producing condensate wastewater. This wastewater contains gunk that builds up inside the furnace’s drain system and will cause a back up. When water leaks inside the furnace cabinet, there are chances for bigger furnace problems.
Furnace Controls & Electronics Wear
A HVAC system turns on over 2000 times per year! Every time the furnace kicks on, a chain reaction of electronics and switches are involved. Over time these switches wear and need to be inspected, recalibrated or replaced.
Restricted Filter & Ductwork = High Blood Pressure in Your Furnace
Over time, filters and other coils that are directly involved in the furnace’s operation can become plugged. When this happens, the static pressure in the system increases. Static pressure is the equivalent of high blood pressure in the HVAC system, which if not resolved will lead to a furnace breakdown and a short lifespan.
